I was recently accepted RD, with first semester grades of 4As, 2Bs (B+ and B-). My AP Calc BC grade has dropped from a B- in first semester to a C right now, and I don’t think it’ll be possible to pull it up to a B- (although I am most definitely trying). I took 5 APs first semester, and 4 right now (Jr year I took 4 as well). What is the likelihood of having admission rescinded with this? Would getting a “4” on the AB Calc AP last year help? It’ll definitely be my first C. My GPA prior to this semester has been around a 3.8 unweighted a tough courseload…

it's fine, you wont get rescinded. one of my grades dropped from an A to a D and brown didnt rescind my acceptance last year. they might send you and your high school counselor a letter indicating that they are displeased with your grade though. to be on the safe side, you might wanna write a letter to brown to explain for it.

only your final year grade will be sent, not your performance in specifically the second semester

studyguy, most high schools work on a fully separate semester system; there is no such thing as a 'final year grade'.

OP, from everything I've read here over the past three years, you're not going to get rescinded, but you might get a letter - it's not a big issue.
