I'm not sure what to do~ i got rescinded from ucla for not maintaining my grade point average.. I had a 3.4 then it dropped to a 3.2~ even if i call admissions I'm not sure if they'll be understanding...hmmm

What were your conditions of admission? Mine were to keep a 3.0 GPA and get at least a C or above in my remaining classes…not much you can do if you did not maintain the conditions they set for you.

If you have a legitimate reason (medical emergency, family hardship, etc.), you can appeal. Contact the admissions office to find out what the appeal process is.

Definitely appeal your decision. If there was an extenuating circumstance, you have a great shot at winning the appeal.

Even if there is no extenuating circumstance/excuse, it is still worth it to send a respectful, well-written, and calm letter to the adcoms admitting you made certain mistakes and owning up to them and pledging to work harder, etc.
