I have already accepted by UCSB for pre-biology major. However, I got a D in my biology class. What can I do?

Call admissions ASAP. Explain the situation, see what they say. We don’t have the answers you need here… only they can tell you if your admission is rescinded, or what your options are. You might be able to enroll in a summer class right right now and retake it for a better grade or something, or you may just be out of luck. But you need to call them.

I will call them next week. I try to retake it on summer but it seems they do not offer this class in Summer. I just can retake it in Fall.

Retake it fall where? Not that it’s likely that they would let you do that.

but this class do not offer in summer. I do not have other methods.

I’m sorry but it looks like you will be rescinded, my friend has this exact same dilemna, he also got a D in Biology in the spring and he called UCSB and they said they will rescind his acceptance because he did not satisfy course prequisites.

They said he could not retake it in the summer and still retain his acceptance because by the time they confirm his summer grade, it will be too late. But you should call just to make sure.

You shouldn’t have gotten a D then. But like ragnorok said, call them as soon as you can and see what they say. Don’t be surprised if your admission gets rescinded though.
