rescinded??? what GPA do i need to maintain??

in order not to get rescinded, i believe i need a 3.0 GPA for all UCs... is this correct??

also, would that be the WEIGHTED grade (C --> B)

for example, if I have C, C, B, B, and 3 classes are AP, would i get rescinded? the unweighted is 2.50 but the weighted is 3.25...

this pertains to all UCs, but UCLA and Berk in particular

ps, my guidance counselor says you need 3.0 weighted.... but shes new, aka nobody trusts her

Here ya go...

UCI's policy; should be similar, however

its actually unweighted i believe

unweighted is correct. second semester of senior year is a breeze... though I maintained my gpa because I wanted to leave high school with good, solid and consistent record.

but with a different perspective... see it as the last chance you will get to slack off in school and still get a good grade for some effort..

I heard it was a .5 drop in your GPA.

.5 drop would be crazy for some people (people have very high GPA's, so .5 drop would still be very high), especially at Berkeley, unless you're referring to UC GPA. In that case, the highest one usually can get is a 4.3 or so. But I believe something around 3.0 is more correct.

Other UC's have different policies. I think my friend who went to UCSC said it was above a 2.0 unweighted, but this might be wrong.
