Rescinded, where do I go to find their decision?

Will they email me when they decide? or do I have to keep checking online? I've tried GatorLink, but I don't know where to find the information about my admission.

After you graduate from HS you will send them the transcript, then you will know if you are rescinded, remember that if you have some Ds and Fs you maybe rescinded but if that is not the case, don’t worry.

Ive already been told I’m rescinded. I’ve “reapplied” I guess and I’m waiting for a response but IDK where to check

@KatrinaJoy How did you find out? wow that was fast!

EDIT: btw, how many classes you dropped, and what were those classes?

Does anybody know if dropping an Honors credit can lead to being rescinded? I’m running short of time to finish my FLVS classes online and I’m balancing those with 5 dual-enrollment classes as well, so I think I might have to drop Honors credit for one semester of my FLVS classes and instead just complete it for regular credit.

No one here knows better than admissions. Email them.

(Though I doubt going from honors-regular with a challenging courseload warrants a rescinded acceptance. Those are usually reserved for Ds, Fs, or drastic schedule changes)

I emailed admission and told then i dropped two DE classes. They told me I need to get back in them or Im rescinded. Since I couldnt I was rescinded and had to reapply. Which was just emailing them the changes.

Oh My god! that was so scary! but was so stupid from them! however, I don’t think that you reapplied, if you reapplied then you would have to pay $ 30!

wha are DE classes?

I’m assuming it means dual enrollment. You seriously got rescinded just for dropping two of those? That’s really weird, given that I dropped my only AP class this semester and they didn’t seem to care at all. Hope everything works out.

yes i did! lol its hell trying to find out what to do. I have no idea how/when I’m going to find out if I can still go. I think I’m going to email them as soon as I sign up for my summer classes and see if they’ve decided.

Last I heard they expect me to get my AA this summer. If I fall a couple credits short will they reject me again if they accept me now? lol so confusing!

Well, you can call them and ask, I think that readmission can’t be checked online.

I told UF and 2 other schools that I dropped one course this semester.
but, i took the same course online at the high-school level instead of at the college level.
all 3 were very understanding and didn’t seem to care.

i dunno what to tell ya, maybe online class? idk

I contacted UF Admissions and they said they would not approve of dropping a semester, but that there is no problem with switching from Honors to Regular credit.

“…you told us you were taking this class on your application, and we expect admitted students to successfully complete their planned courses, especially academic ones. If you did, your application would go under review again, and there would be a possibility that we would rescind our offer of admission.”

I think if I finish my AA before Fall, they’ll let me in. I’m planning on it, but 9 (3 classes) credits are from AP/CLEP tests. What if I don’t pass all of them? Will they reject me again? This is so frustrating!

No, AP scores don’t have any influence over the admission. don’t worry. :)
