rescinded???

I heard that it may be possible for a college to decide to rescind a student if there grades were to drop. I apply to Iowa State University and got in but I'm curious as to how badly a person's grade would have to drop. Currently I have high Bs and low As (and one C in honors ela 11) in almost everyone one of my classes. I will be entering senior year of high school in a month and a half and I'm scared that if i get another C in English I might get rescinded. So the question is how bad does a person's grade need to drop to get rescinded since this year I have a pretty tough schedule and afraid to get a C. Thank you for your time in advance.

Broadly speaking, at State Universities, as long as you pass the core curriculum requirements you are safe…That does not mean that they will necessarily keep any Financial Aid promises if you don’t keep up your end of the bargain.

Now…if you were to fail those classes, you could be looking into some issues when it comes to English as most every college requires 4 years of English, so one failed semester is one too many and you have to start looking at ways to make it up.
