I’ve been accepted as a transfer but I am worried about my decision being withdrawn. I am taking calculus II and I do not think I will do too well. This is not a required course, calculus I was only required for my major. The problem is I put that I will be taking it on my supplemental application. What do you all think about this?
@Gumbymom I did and this was their response: We have yet to complete your confirmation review, so I cannot tell you the exact impact of dropping the course. I would suggest that you make sure that you will have the 60 units met, all major prep requirements met and the 30 GE units required before dropping the course.
What do you think @Gumbymom? I see you all over this website, your input is greatly appreciated.
It is better to take a W than a D or F. Since it is not a required course and you if think you cannot pull a C, I would probably withdraw. Any chance you can get some tutoring?? Difficult decision since CSULB is being so vague. I would hate to see you lose an acceptance based on my advice.
@Gumbymom I agree and thank you for actually giving me advice. I personally do not want anything below a B in a course that is not required because that will hurt my GPA too much. It is a difficult decision, I may try and see a transfer counselor over there on Friday to get something more concrete. I appreciate your advice and don’t worry if I lose the acceptance, it’s not your fault.
