So I got into U Conn, they didn’t want mid year report and overall my grades haven’t slipped this year. However, I was reading thru the forum and suddenly am panicking. I dropped out of my comp sci elective in mid Nov., my grade was a B+ but the teacher was terrible and I wasn’t learning anything. My dad met with school and principal to share his concerns. They agreed I could drop the class and it wouldn’t even show up on my transcripts. I didn’t think much of it. I took a few online classes from udemy to learn what they were teaching on my own. Then I read these forums and it said I was supposed to report a schedule change. I’m still taking ap Econ and ap calc and physics, business management and English. We even gave the deposit to UConn, am I panicking for no reason. What should I do. It was an elective but it was listed on my common app.
I’m not sure what the policy is, my child dropped a class in his senior year because it conflicted with some of his labs. We didn’t think he had to report it. It wasn’t a mandatory class but an elective. Does anyone know if we should report it.
Called a few schools. Most said it’s ok, we will see it on the final transcript, oh it’s ok, we see it all the time.
