Reading posts about kids who have gotten their admission rescinded, it seems as though they werent notified until late july or early august. Assuming you received no warning letter or call, do you think its appropriate to call or email your intended university after final grades are sent to make sure your admission hasnt been rescinded?

I would assume one would receive some sort of red flag or warning sign before being rescinded.

It's very very rare to get rescinded in freshman admissions. Your circumstances probably aren't as bad as you think.

How would a D look? I "might" get one but still have over 3.0. Chances of getting rescinded.

If you're getting a D you better call the colleges you're considering. Some require you to complete all classes with a C or better, some to get a B average overall, etc.
