Rescinding acceptance

Does anyone know what the minimum GPA necessary is to keep your acceptance at Davis? I know at schools like Berkeley and LA it is a 3.0, but I heard that the other UC’s are lower.

The admissions contract only says that you cannot have any D’s or F’s and you have to remain UC eligible, so technically, if I am interpreting this correctly, I could have a 2.0 and still go to Davis next fall since 3450 is the cut off for being eligible based on test scores alone, and I have 3610.

I am asking this because I had a 2.67 1st semester (3.33 weighted, if that counts for anything), and will likely have that this semester as well.

you need to maintain a 3.0 and get nothing less than a C - from what i understand. :p

What are you basing that understanding upon?

for All UC's there's a contract. It states you need to maintain a 3.0. It's on the website...find it. Im not sure if its weighted or unweighted however

The thing is its not on their website... like I said, it only says no D's or F's and maintain UC eligibility.

Anyway I emailed them, so I'll post the response when I get it.

I got a response:

O_O so i can get all Cs in my classes? holy smokes. i guess im lucky all my senior classes are AP or college classes ^^. what about the weighted GPA cap though?

Uhh...what if you were admitted in the first place with less than a 3.0?

(I was admitted with a 2.9 UC GPA)

still a 3.0 for u czilla.

haha...I have 3 A's and 1 D in pre-calc. I hope I do not get rescinded.

My mom thought that I was going to fail a class. I'm pretty sure that I won't fail AP Stats now, but anyways. If you think that you're in danger of getting a D or not maintaining a 3.0 gpa. EMAIL THE SCHOOL RIGHT NOW. Yep. They hate surprises and my mom called in and talked to them for like half an hour. Write them and just tell them that you're trying your best, getting tutoring, blah blah. Just don't make it a surprise for them or else you might not be attending next school year.
