Rescinding acceptances...

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>This has been bothering me for a while now. I currently take the IB Diploma, and for the remaining semester, we've been doing past exam papers. My teachers have been taking these papers as our grades, but I have not been doing as well on them for some reason. I have a C in French SL as of right now, and it seems that UC Berkeley and UCLA do not allow seniors to have a C their last year. Am I really going to be rejected just because I have a C in this course? :(</p>

<p>You are mistaken. At Cal and UCLA the requirement is that you have an unweighted B average senior year. One C is not a problem at all!</p>

<p>A: If the course schedule you gave us on your application changes, if you receive any grade lower than C, or if your senior year unweighted GPA drops below 3.0, you should notify us right away. We will review these changes in the context of your overall record and let you know whether they affect your admission. You may be required to take additional classes in the summer, or in some cases, your offer of admission can be withdrawn. Generally, the sooner you let us know of changes, the more options you will have.
