Rescinding Admission

I’m going to U of I in the fall, but I have a bit of a concern. I’m about to make my only C in high school in my last semester, and I was wondering if anyone has any idea if this could potentially cause my admission to be rescinded. I’ve had all A’s with a couple B’s for all of high school, and the C is in an AP class with an instructor that it is absolutely impossible to work with, so I don’t think there’s any chance of my grade going up.

I wouldn’t think so…save your energy for completing AP tests, finals and graduation. Follow through with admissions if you need assurance. Remember on the application, the emphasis was on reporting your intended 2nd semester senior schedule, and reporting any changes, i.e., lowering the rigor of your schedule, and truthful representation of your senior schedule and your self-reported grades. You may well be registered for fall classes by the time your high school even gets your final transcript sent by the summer deadline.

Nope. I’ve only had As and Bs all of high school and got a C+ in AP Physics C second semester of senior year, but my admission into the College of Engineering still wasn’t rescinded.
