Hey CC,
I've been accepted and plan on attending the University of Michigan this fall but have one concern about rescinding. My calculus class has been my worst nightmare to say the least, and right now have the potential to end up with a grade anywhere from a 69 to a 77. In my current school, a 69 and below is a F, but at most high schools this is a D (60-69). I am concerned on U-M's interpretation (which I would assume other schools have guidelines for as well). A 75 is a C in my school, meaning I still have an outside chance of not even facing a D in either scenario.

The U-M site states:
"Any significant decline in your academic performance, such as three or more C's, any D's, E's or F's, may be cause for revoking admission." (https://umich.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/300/~/revoking-admission)

I have a three-part final that I'm now 2/3 through and figure I will end up in the D range for our school, which would be a C elsewhere. I have no concern about other classes and might have one other C but in all likelihood AP Calc should be my only concern... can someone elaborate on what schools generally (and U-M specifically) go by, a set grade system (the standard is 90-99 A, 80-89 B, 70-79 C, 60-69 D, <=59 F) or a high school's specific grading system. I'm pretty sure I'm over worrying, hopefully you guys can clear this up for me.
