Rescinding offer

I have a question about rescinding their offer of admission…I’ve maintained the same grades in every class except AP government, where it has dropped to a D this semester from a B first semester through no fault of my own. My teacher is giving me the least possible credit for all of my work, and when I compare my work to that of students who are getting good grades, I have just as much if not more information in all of it. Apparently she’s doing this to a lot of students. I’m going to meet with her soon, and should I get a letter from Bucknell my guidance counselor is going to write to them herself. Do you think I’ll get a letter to begin with, if it’s the only class I’ve dropped in (and I might actually go up a letter grade in another class)?

I would be shocked if you got a letter from Bucknell rescinding your admission. Since you have a B the first semester, I am assuming that your final grade for the AP Government will be a C which should be an acceptable grade. That said, the D for the semester is still a red flag that will make Buckenll look twice at your report card. Luckily, the class is an AP class, and everyone knows how challenging that can be. I am assuming that the rest of the report card will have good grades and I am hoping that the 1 that improved is an AP as well. You may be encouraged to take a class over summer, but I would expect nothing more.
