Hey guys I am having the fear of getting rescinded now. I MIGHT get 2 C’s this semester in AP Spanish and AP Macroeconomics and the rest B’s. I know that you have to send in transcripts at the very end. So i was thinking if i get like a 3.5 2nd semester, it would “make up” for my C’s from first semester. Do you guys think that this will work??

Please respond i need support :/

I want to get into UCSC or UCI, if that helps

Have you been admitted yet? You can’t be rescinded unless you are admitted first.

NO, im saying if i do get accepted, am i going to be rescinded due to my 1st sem grades even though i do well 2nd sem?

I don’t believe that will be the case, Cheesewiz.

Gettings Cs won’t get you rescinded, esp from UCSC and UCI. And, you still have a weighted 3.0 (need unweighted 3.0 for cal and la tho).

UCSC and UCI require 3.0 weighted for senior year (average of two semesters) and no D or F grades, so you should be fine. Here are the generic Provisional Admission Contract/Conditions of Admission from last year:

UCI - [UCI - Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools](http://www.admissions.uci.edu/maa_uci/freshman_contract.html)

UCSC - http://admissions.ucsc.edu/apply/f12-conditions-frosh-standard.pdf

Does this weighted mean counting all AP/Honors approved UC courses??

Yup, add an extra grade point for each AP/UC-approved Honors courses in senior year.
