So I discovered that I have one D (in AP English) for second semester. I don't know what to do! Does UCSB rescind admissions when one gets a D? The thing is, I had about a 3.83 for the first semester so I'm pretty sure I have above a 3.0 average overall... what should I do?

Thank you.

You will need to call the Office of Admissions ASAP. While they probably won't rescind admissions, you probably will have to take some remedial course since a D is not considered passing.

The sooner you call them the better, since you don't want them to think that you are hiding anything, especially since you'll need to send your transcript to them soon.
