Hi all,

So I have heard that Yale's rescindment policy is quite strict and I'm getting slightly nervous because I have a B in phyics and calc. the rest should be B+'s and higher. is this okay??

You should be fine as long as you don’t get a C. But if you’ve gotten all As until now, all of those Bs might look bad. Not bad enough to warrant rescission though.

how about a letter of admonishment? also i had a b for physics first semester too…

You’ll be fine. Relax.

If you have all B’s or majority B’s then they would probably rescind. Be careful. I know someone with 5 B’s and 1 A that got rescinded.

^Really? That seems absurdly harsh.

Personally, I think goldmind is trying to pull our leg

I always thought the word was recission, not rescindment. Are they interchangeable?

^I think so. I think that “recission” is the correct word but most of us just use “rescindment” because it sounds correct.

They are interchangeable provided they are spelled correctly. rescission
