Rescission for failing in summer course?

I got accepted to UCSC as a transfer student with proposed major of mathematics. I’m taking a linear algebra class at the moment in a CC. Will they rescind my admission if I were to fail in the said class. I still have to take up the finals so it’s not all over. I’ll need to do well of course but can pass.

But if I were to fail, will they cancel my admission? I already picked up classes for my Fall there, there is also an opening for a linear algebra class in UCSC should I need to retake it asap. Just wondering about this, since I’m not sure how strict they are with summer courses. I met all the requirements upto the Spring of this year as the contract stated.

Well they usually want you to at least get a C, assuming the summer course has no connection to a provisional stipulation. If you got D, I really can’t say what they’ll do. Work really hard on the C (or ideally, higher).

Maybe as a safety, you should grab the course at UCSC if it’s still available, and then drop it later.

DO ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING TO PASS THIS CLASS

You DO NOT want to be scrambling at the last minute

@lindyk8 yeah that’s what I just did, just saw that there was only one spot left in that class Enrolled!

@xenomorph Let’s just hope you don’t need it. B-)
