Hi everyone!

So in AP US History last year, my class spent three months (on our own time, not in class) doing research through the town historical society on WW2 vets from our school doing all sorts of letter transcription and work with microfilm archives. My teacher recommended I do Columbia’s research abstract on it, since I did write my own individualized research report on it and gave a presentation on my findings. He said it has gotten kids into top schools before and all.

I was wondering if anyone here is doing the abstract for a Humanities topic & if so, how are you formatting it? Most examples on the web are these length science reports.

I used my AP Research paper and it was formatted as APA. Most humanities papers are in APA from what I learned in the class.

@izrk02 Thanks!!! I formatted it like that actually, so I think it’s good. Best of luck! I hope my abstract helps me stand-out b/c I think we did some pretty cool work tbh.
