<p>Just google the topics you're interested in and email a professor working in those fields -- ask nicely if you can volunteer to help out. Though you shouldn't act as if all you're fit to do is polish beakers.</p>
<p>This is actually what an internship is: making coffee, photocopying stuff, etc.</p>
<p>Yeah . . . it's kinda hard for some people to take high schoolers seriously. I've tried Google before, but it's tough to locate a lab within convenient traveling distance. Even if it's within my own state, it can be something like 45 minutes-hour away.</p>
