Research at CIT

Hi everyone! I was accepted into CIT recently and I was wondering if anyone had information about research opportunities within the college. I'm interested in Chemical Engineering, and I'm thinking about the Biomedical Engineering double major that CIT offers. Does CIT promote research for undergrads? And do undergrads have the option to research at UPMC (if Carnegie Mellon has a close relationship with UPMC)?
Any information about research at CIT is welcome! Thanks for the help!!
