research contests / science fairs

is there any other research contests other than Seimens and Intel? Seimens' deadline already passed and Intel is for seniors only... or is there any like new jersey science fairs or anything??

ISEF fdfsdf

thnx... is that it?

Not of this caliber that I am aware of.

Junior Science and Humanities Symposium?

http://www.jshs.org/

haha what about something that's not in that caliber?
i'm just starting out with my research, and i don't have a mentor (yet?!?) i'm working towards getting a mentor (have written a letter, and have a couple e-mail addresses that i'll send it to once i... finish the final draft)... and my projects are very simple... stuff that i haven't needed to research additional information on.. just used information i've learned in discrete math, ap calc, and visual basic to find the solution and make a computer model... something anyone could easily do... not pioneering anything... i jsut want experience you know?

This is qualifier for ISEF: http://www.sciserv.org/isef/students/aff_fairsearch.asp
Times less caliber :)

haha found it already... when i googled "ISEF" :)

i feel like a newbie.

scratch that: i AM a newbie :D

The ISEF-qualifying fairs in NJ are North Jersey Regional Science Fair, Mercer (County) Science and Engineering Fair, and umm something in South Jersey that I don't know the name of. There are probably a few high schools that have their own fairs, too, but they're probably restricted to only their own students.
