Is it possible for a high school student to do scientific research during the school year? I have other internships and volunteering I want to do over the summer but still want to do scientific research
Doing scientific research for a high school student during the school year is very difficult. It is simply a matter of timing in the lab. A lot of experiments can’t just be done in an hour or two after school. Research really requires a time commitment. If you truly want to research (because you’re interested in research and not just to pad your resume) consider doing it during the summer and doing your volunteering during the school year.
