Research in the process of getting published

So, I have been diligently working on this research for quite a while. And I'm at a stage where my mentor is helping me publish my work in real professional journals. He is very well known in his field, so that definitely helps in getting it published. Anyway, So, my point is, how exactly should I mention this in college apps? Should I just say that it's in the process?
I already submitted my research in several journals, and all are undergoing peer review, and stuffs. But, those are just regular procedures, and I dont expect any of them to be publisehd until February/March or even until May. So, any suggestions? By the way, just to make it clear, it's solely my research, so, my name, and my mentor's name would be there...

Thanks!

anyone please?

Send a copy of the abstract or paper to all of your colleges. Also be sure to indicate on your extra-curricular list on the apps that you did research with the dates & a brief description if possible. On the CommonApp you could put the abstract/paper on the supplementary page. If you do mail it make sure it is ok with the school first- some do not accept extra materials, though most do. Send updates to the colleges when it gets published. Get a LOR from your mentor as well.
