Anyone know any institution in SoCal that are still accepting applications for research mentorship programs over the summer? Or any similar program? I'm interested in Astronomy, Math, and Physics.

Nope…
Your best bet is emailing random professors but being that it’s so late already it’s most likely that none will take you.

Sigh… if only I paid attention to the 5/29 deadline of the UCSB program. I think I want to cry now. :'(

Is there any community colleges in the LA area (besides PCC) that offers Astronomy, Math, or Physics?

I have no idea I don’t live in LA but I kind of just assumed that all deadlines for programs have past since all the threads I’ve seen on here from like a UCLA program and things like that… the people already know they’ve gotten in.

I’m sure there are some CC’s that offer at least Math or Physics.

I searched and found that UCLA offers summer courses for high school students. Judging from that site, the deadline is June 18th right? If so I want to enroll in either Linear Algebra or Astronomy. So far I learned Calculus AB; is that enough preparation for Linear Algebra?

For anyone who is also enrolling in this program, I need an explanation of the process of how to enroll.
