Hello! I was wondering if I could have any suggestions for research opportunities so I could gain experience conducting research in a lab?
I am a sophmore who has an interest in computer science (and AI) and wanted to gain some experience doing this work. I have a solid coding background and have A’s at school.
Any tips?
By the time you finish high school and get your university degree, the software you were using in high school will be old and obsolete. I wouldn’t spend too much time on that. If you want to gain experience in AI, you can download an open source version of ChatGPT. There are several out there like “Chat with GPT.” This will allow you to get your hands on the back-end code so you can modify or write custom scripts.
