Research or job?

I am going to be a sophomore and this summer I want to do some research for a lab. Can someone tell me how to get started, where to go, who to contact so I can get a researching job?

Can someone tell me how I can shadow a doctor? Who can I contact and what do I do to get started.

Anything will be good.

Plus what did you guys do during you freshman summer? Tell me everything. What jobs did you guys get? What job can a "going to be sophomore who is 14 right now get"?

Please say anything you wish which will help me out.

Thanks

Talk to your guidance office. They should be able to help out with this.

“how I can shadow a doctor” - start with your family Dr and if you have a good relationship ask him to make a few calls for you, (if he is not available).

If you have a FBL or DECA club / class at your school ask that teacher / advisor - Lots of employers contact DECA advisors because they know that those kids want to work.

I don’t have a family doctor…so who should i contact then?

Most hospitals have a volunteer service coordinator, you might want to start there.
