if anyone wanted to help me, that would be awesome. i'm supposed to lend evidence to support the idea that the 3 abrahamic religions-judaism, chrisitanity, and islam-are rooted in a common belief system, find similarities, blah blah blah. but i'm not sure how to set up the paper. like, for the body paragraphs, the only thing that makes sense to me is to make 3 huge paragraphs-one for each religion. but, obviously, that is not very convenient. another idea is dedicate a paragraph to each commonality & talk about the three religions in each paragraph. if i do this, would i need to provide background information on the 3 religions? HELP...how should i break this shiz down?!

Maybe you should research the topics first, and then break it up into 3 major points of agreement (since you are focusing on those I guess).

I don’t know much about religion, but for instance, all three believe in the same god/ God. I don’t know if you could devote a paragraph to that, but eh.

I. similar God and prophets (to a point)
II. based and derived on holy texts
III. prescribe moral rules that are fairly similar (give to poor, don’t harm others, pray).
IV. have a bunch of holy days/ rituals blah blah
V. Based on in-groups an out-groups

This took me all of 30 seconds but you get the idea. I think the tenets of each religion will come out as you compare them.
