Research Paper?

Hi,

I was wondering if you can submit a research paper when applying to Princeton. If so, how does one do that?

Thanks!

Yeah you can upload it in the additional document section on the common app, or after you submitted your application and on the princeton portal.

You really shouldn’t.

Upload a one page abstract – no one is going to take time to look over your paper. There’s no time for that.

Actually T26E4, you’re incorrect. My family member looked over his application after he got in and the math department actually commented pretty extensively on his research paper (showing that they did, indeed, at least read briefly the entire thing). I really don’t think you should be making assumptions about what Princeton does and saying it like it’s a fact — all colleges aren’t the same.

@VenomBuds: thanks for the correction

I had this same experience at other elite schools which allowed a paper to be sent. Stanford was the exception. I believe the paper has to be at a pretty high level to warrant them sending it out for review though.
