I am currently a junior in college and I wanted to get some research position with a professor. I emailed him and he agreed to meet with me next week. I have a few question:

1) How professional should I dress

2) and what types of questions I should ask so it shows I care (which I do)

3 ) I want the position this coming FALL. His research interest is in Food safety, shelf life, and foodborne illness. I will have an internship with a food company as food quality assurance this SUMMER so should I talk about that even though i havent actually done it yet (but I will be by the time I get into researching).

For any interview, I generally recommend dressing one step up from what you would probably be wearing in the position. Research positions tend to be pretty casual in terms of dress (at least in my field), so I’d recommend business casual. A collared shirt and slacks if you’re a guy; a nice blouse and dress pants/skirt if you’re a girl. Just look nice, and I wouldn’t fret too much about it.

Ask questions that you’re interested in knowing the answer to. If you care, then you shouldn’t need others to tell you how to show it. Asking questions about their research are usually always a good fallback because professors love talking about their research.

You can say that you’re planning on doing that internship over the summer, but you probably won’t have much to say about it other than that. I’d only mention it if it comes up (if he asks about your plans over the summer or something like that).
