I’m a current senior (rising college freshman) and I was wondering if there are any organized summer programs like there are for high school juniors (like RGSI, BU has one, taps, Roswell, Simons fellows). I want to also do research this summer (in applied math/CS if possible) and was wondering if there were any organized programs or I can only contact professors individually. I was an RSI alternate and participated in paid internship through a program of a local physics laboratory this past summer, so I believe I’d be competitive for most programs if any are available. Please let me know.

- If you have any local colleges or universities you may find professors there are willing to take on high school students as research interns. My D and several of her friends had great success with that.
