Research Programs for Undergraduates

<p>Hey...</p>

<p>So I'm a sophomore psy major at a small LAC with few research opportunities. I plan on pursuing a doctorate in clincal psychology (maybe an experimental masters first) at a high caliber school/program. I know that to enter this competitive field I've got to have valuable research under my belt (which I have to seek outside of my home institution). I've applied to 7 summer programs & should hear back in March sometime. Where I applied: Northwestern's Family Institute, Norther Arizona U's REU in psychology, Emory's SURE program in psych, U Wisconsin Madison's PREP, Boston U's SURF program, Pace U's Counseling internship, & Wediko Summer Camp.</p>

<p>Where did/are you applying to? What kind of research have you done? Etc?</p>

<p>So I am also a sophomore psychology major, and I applied to some of the same summer programs for the summer of 2012. I am now anxiously awaiting decision releases! Which programs were you accepted to and when did you hear back?</p>
