100 Pages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is unfortunate that the push to finish out the 99th page was made up of little more than inanities... oh well.

...........

"How do people generally travel to RSI? Presuming that I get in, I will drive out there, but is it useful to have one's own car or does public transportation generally suffice once on campus?"

You can have your parents drive you up to Cambridge. You can fly to RSI, but you don't need a car once you're there. Cambridge has one of the best public transportation ever. Plus, everything is in walking distance too. You won't really go out on weekdays because they're filled with lab work and lecture.

decisions..;;; nerve-wrecking-!!! -_-;

haha, the longer I wait, the more I think I'm gonna get rejected. oh well. at least I'll be too busy after we get decisions to think much about them.

true, true

unless some miracle happens--like adcom found something sooooo great in rec or something--it will probably be a reject for me because i can't really show the passion i have with no research experience..T.T;;

one hope is that one person i e-mailed at cee told me that there are some other ways to "measure" or "find out" passion

i found about rsi like 2 days before the extended deadline (yep, that's right), did the app, and sent off by overnight, so i'm not sure if i successfully showed my passion, or not..

ahhhhh, i want to be a rickoid...-_-;;

hehe, well kimjm, sounds like you're a typical rickoid (at least with the 2-day-before app :p)

i guess only that part....lol

it was really really lucky coincidence because i started CC on that day (look at my join date) and found out about this rsi thread, reading about it; got fascinated and applied..

i just so wish that i could get in... good luck- everyone!!

maybe it was fated that you found CC... so you could apply to RSI ^.^ and I have no research experience either so meh. I really wanna get in, too.

anyway, good luck to all, as well!

gahhhh i am so nervous.

you shouldn't pretend to have more results that you really do! Don't compromise your integrity.
lol me neither. let's start a club- the people who want to go to RSI but have no research experience OH NO :)

wishful_thinker. yeah i'm with first. which regionals are you going to and are you going to the championships?

you know what guys...i had a strange dream that i was rejected (seemed realistic to me)

maybe i'm getting nervous too...

I have strange dreams all the time. The other night I dreamt that I couldn't find my oboe or English horn and then I found different parts of both in a pile mixed with parts from other oboes and I couldn't find any with my serial # AHHH
sorry. tangent.

lol I have had two rsi dreams. One where I got accepted and one where I got rejected. In the accepted one, I could fly...

EDIT:MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT POST #2000! that is reserved for static!

whoa, that's what my dream last night was about-- RSI. I was trying to remember this morning but I couldn't, lol. now I wonder whether I got accepted or rejected in it, because I can't remember...

aww you guys are so nice!

"it was really really lucky coincidence because i started CC on that day (look at my join date) and found out about this rsi thread, reading about it; got fascinated and applied.."

that's how I found RSI too :D Through CC!! WHoo hoo CC for life! Last year, Paul and Ryu were the rickoids that help us.

BEST OF LUCK TO ALL THE RICKOIDS of 2005. I hope to see you guys there in the summer this year when I'm visiting. Ahh I wish all of you could get in :D
