Yeah, the question's been asked at least twice before; the consensus is that photocopying is alright.

In ther part where it asks to list AP courses (#6), should you list ones currently taking and just say no score yet or something? Also, I assume you should list even non-science ones right? What about self-study? If not there where would be the best place to mention that I am self-studying AP biology?

that was my question, also (about AP's)

I'm also applying to SHARP, but for some reason, RSI's application form (http://cee.org/rsi/US_Application.pdf) seems to be a bit...informal?

it is informal; that's what makes it so fun! No rules to bound your passion and unbridled curiosity!

should you list ones currently taking and just say no score yet or something?non-science ones right? What about self-study? yes to all of the above. Just write next to AP BIO (self/independent study)

Is it excessive to apply to RSI, SHARP, Garcia, and Clark, along with 2 or 3 math programs such as Ross and PROMYS (the math ones don't really count though since they have problem sets that I would do for fun anyway)?

zogoto-what are um... SHARP, garcia and clark, ross and PROMYS? i've never heard of any of em except RSI, and i've only heard of RSI this year. =____= where could i get information on these camps and are they even worth applying for?

RSI's application really does seem informal, but i like it like that! sometimes it worries me though, that i might do something wrong and when they look at it they'll be like "stupid stupid girl, she wrote out of the lines" or something. T_____T

how many former RSI attendees actually read this thread? it seems like these questions keep piling up and piling up and piling up.....

do you guys think being a pilot would help? I'm only a soph, but I'm interested...

although technically by the time applications are due next year, I will still be 1 month too young...

too young for what?

to get a license...you need to be 17, and I will be 16 11 months and 340 days old

anyone????

Being a pilot does not show too much research fervor, but it's definitely an EC. Include it.

Those other programs are science/math programs. Do you think it's too many to apply to?

then again zogoto, you've never been....anyone here who has been?

I may not have been, but I know that you don't need to be a researcher to be a pilot.

On another note, I don't think applying to that many programs will be a problem...it gives you more opportunities

And I beg to differ about not being a "researcher" to be a pilot...

Hey- I'm interested in environmental science, what would the field/subfield for this be? Would it be biology for field and environ. sci. for subfield or environ. sci for field and something else (any ideas?) for subfield?

hey duckoftheyear-i'm interested in env sci too. i was actually debating between putting it as a subfield under biology vs. chemistry, but i wasn't sure which one.

sorry i couldn't give much help... we'll just have to wait until an RSI alumni comes along and reads all these questions one day... =

thanks anyway- good to know there are others in this boat

Are the 3-5 questions ones that we need to find answers to while at RSI (can they be larger questions)?
