Wait a minute. I have my teacher's apps with me and all, does that make applying online...redundant? Or is it probably a good idea to apply online? I notice Part II is not available online.

And can anyone answer the questions above?

Finally, sorry if I seem to be a pest...

U.S. Immigration Status
(if non US citizen)

Please detail
Detail? how? I'm a permanent resident. How much more can I detail?

The the last question, perhaps say that you are a permanent resident and "are taking steps to become a citizen."

Yes, put it all in a yellowy folder.

where does it say to enter your highest PSAT scores?

Thanks zogoto. Fae, section 2, on the online thing it states,
If you have taken the PSAT, please provide your highest score in each subject area, along with the date on which you took the test. If you have not taken the PSATs, please enter "0" in the score fields.

I wonder why it doesn't say that on the paper one

let me remind clear things up. if your application is not at CEE office by the 9th, then it's disqualified. again, do not POSTMARKED on the 9th.

Postmarked? Gah. Never understood precisely what that term means.

the postmark is that stamp thing that goes over the postage stamp that says the date it was at the post office. it means you got it to the post office by that date and RSI doesn't want your app postmarked by the 9th. they want it in their hands by the 9th

Ah. So if I overnight it...

Question. In Part II, what precisely does it mean by 'technical skills?' How complex a function you can derive? How well you can service a broken piece of junk? How l33t your HTML skills are?

it says "List BELOW your technical skills level..." I think you're supposed to check the boxes

Oh, that's it? Okay. I wish xhtml counted as a programming language so I could fill it into 'other' and 'expert.' But alas, it isn't, and I'm no good at programming languages.

hahahahahahahahahaha....actually it would be how 1337 your html skills are.... jk.

lol I'm int. in Q basic which is like ancient and P basic which is for little microcontrollers and ti-basic which is for geeks who spend too much time on their calculators...strokes Gollum voice precious...

does anyone else here know ML or Haskell?

wait, the name of the programming language on the ti-83 is ti-basic?

Is it? I thought it was basically BASIC (har, har...never mind) with no special name. I did Qbasic once, and forgot it so I can't say I'm 'intermediate.' I put beginner for that, and intermediate for PHP, which is a programming language I'm moderately good at but not very. My PHP knowledge is getting dusty too.

well in that case, i'm an expert at ti-basic...

I am too. But I don't think that would count...I don't know.

I just stuck it under "other" to make believe I can do something haha. there are several kinds of "BASIC" so it's not all the same
