you mean rejections? (in my case)
late march... end of lent... =___=''

March 31: Students notified of selection by mail.

yea but last year decisions came around march 14th

I hope they actually send rejection letters to those who didn't get in. That way I would actually receive a formal conclusion to this crazy escapade.

^^ aye aye. and i'm pretty sure they will: i doubt rsi/mit would be the type to leave kids hanging. *sits back and waits for the Rletter.

March 30, no earlier?

lol ya I hate waiting. I think it's really rude not to send rejection letters. If you're going to crush someone you might as well be courteous about it!

If the board from last year is reflective of anything, they do send such letters.

cool. they are probably similar people right?

most likely yes

Hey everbody

I applied to RSI as well
Good luck to everyone and hope for the best

As for when people will recieve letter of acception or rejection is anybody's guess. Please remember that this year the deadline for the application were extended.

Therefore, the exact date and time is hard to guess.

the deadline was extended last year as well

Why do they extend the deadline? Because there are not enough applicants at that point in time? If that is true maybe it is true that people who apply later have a better chance of getting in?

maybe because they know we procrastinate terribly?

maybe they are busy?
I don't understand the reasoning for people who apply latter having an advantage...

I used overnight delivery and sent my application on Monday. However, CEE received my mail on February 10th (Thursday). Will they even look at my application. It was postmarked for the 8th. Please, someone lend me the truth and pity!!!! I hope my hard work does not go to the paper shredder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please, someone reply. I tried to call CEE but their office is closed right now.

dude, the 8th?

sickofflorida, don't worry. I overnighted on the 8th, but the postal service also didn't deliver my app to CEE until today. I e-mailed CEE and they said that there wouldn't be a problem.
