Yup, last year's acceptance came in a big envelope which contained a nice acceptance letter, a pretty certificate, and a packet of "general information".

I don't know how big or small the other envelope was, though.

i think we should worry about GETTING accepted (rejected in my case) FIRSt, THEN worry about the envelopes. i mean, come on. you'll see them in the mailbox/kitchen table anyway

good luck NGHI!!!!!!

yeah man, good luck.

xinerz - i agree. i went back to read the previous pages and envelope discussions have been brought up like 10 times. right now is just wait.

how about we discuss lighter topics, such as in the case of some of us how no one in the entire school has the background to even discuss our research efforts (a sad event indeed, seriously!).

that's quite um, common.....

schemer, no one at my school does a science fair project, let alone have someone he can discuss research with

it's rare for people to like sciences.

wow,
At my school interest in science is common, as is research
its just I'm the only person doing real computer science work in the entire school

science fair is big at my school (math/science magent) too. sigh but not me. I'm too stupid and lazy. lol shouldda listened to my freshman science teacher clonk
good luck!

good for you.

same here with tree hugging.

i don't think anyone at my school knows wat a science fair is

wow!! I guess regular high schools really are fundamentally different

but you go to head-royce!

i really dislike science fairs... in 5th grade, our entire class was forced to do a project since not enough people entered the fair itself... lol

i did some really crappy one on evaporation

what is head-royce?

computer science is cool. a lot of kids i know who are into it are good, but not as dedicated as to research or things like that. i'm not really familiar with programming. schemer, so what kind of stuff do you research in cs?

in kansas, "research" is going to the public library to look up old guys...

in tennessee, "research" is going out and hunting to see who can kill the most.

in georgia, "research" is when you have to re-search the remote you lost under the couch.

lol my state is too diverse to say...scracth head to me, "research" is that thing I shouldda done clonk sorry i constantly talk about my regrets. apologizes
