i'd die if we got em on the 31st

but if we got em after the 31st, you'd be fine :)

haha ^
nervous well, even if I don't get it, it was a good experience writing the app I suppose. :) looking on bright side

no, not 31th

so. is it gona be
letter?
or
email?

so..if its letter..and i live in taiwan..that means..it'll..take..uh..forever to get here!?...wth

Hmm...a lot of stuff happening over the next few weeks. RSI notification, ISEF-qualification round...

taiwan, my uncle lives there

smurf816, do you like the current president?

can someone who knows wt they're talking abt answer the question???
letter?
or
email?

and no i do not like the president here...

March is the biggest month of the year for many high schoolers!

I would think since static talked about getting an envelope, it's by mail. And I think they send it to your house, not the school.
wooooooooooooo
ya, so much is happening this month. AGH!!! it's all bad too.

exciting times, brace yourself :D

I don't think it's final yet. I recall from one of the CEE emails I've recieved that the selection (might it be for internationals?) will start on the 10th. So it's either the selection didn't start or the selection for the 50 US kids has finished.

Speaking of the new changes, the new column sucks!

I think I got rejected...:(

awwww zogoto, don't say that. we missed ya! where have you been?

lol zogoto, u prolly have one of the best chances of all of us here, being an SW Regional Finalist and all. Good Luck.

I suppose the best thing to do is to put it in the backs of our minds for now and concentrate on upcoming stuff... like the calculus hw I'm 2 days behind on... or the chem olympiad locals, which will probably be the same day I get the RSI notification. Joy...

Why is my post count so messed up? I made... like 8 posts today, and my count increased by one.

the pride of a rickoid...

wow, the more i know about the history of rickoids, the more i am amazed at how the hell did i get in...

"Natalia Toro, a 14-year-old high school senior at Fairview High School in Boulder, CO, won top honors in the Intel Science Talent Search (formerly the Westinghouse Science Search). She won for research she did at MIT last summer under the supervision of Professor of Physics Edmund Bertschinger as part of the Research Science Institute. Natalia, who hopes to attend MIT and earn a doctorate in physics, won for a project entitled "Independent Analysis of Evidence for nmsrnt Oscillations in the SuperKamiokande Atmospheric Neutrino Data." She studied oscillations of neutrinos, the most elusive of subatomic particles. Such work may help explain mysterious shortages in neutrino counts and have a fundamental impact on high-energy physics. Natalia is the youngest student in the 58-year history of the program to win the top prize, a college scholarship of $50,000, and is the second female in six years to win top honors."

apparently, before 2000, the grand prize award was 50K instead of the now 100K. As we are speaking, 6 rickoids are in D.C. right now, competing for the top 10. I really hope rickoids dominate and fill the top 3 spots. That would just be way too cool.

sigh more waiting, more nervousness, more thinking

i guess which is good: if i get my rejection early i'll be sad =( so i guess it's better for the dismal news to come later so i can concentrate more on my project over spring break? yeah......

smurf! you live in TAIWAN!!!! where in taiwan are you from?

i should stop checking CC before i flunk outta school too, franken!

edit: dude, this new forum is totally wacked on this imac at my school >___>
