Ah I see…so emails are sent in the morning, seems like. Well, good job! :)

@Windowwasher
What type of email do they send you if you are? Like what do the email contents state?

I don’t know the exact contents; I have not received an email. But, the email that they send you will tell you whether you are a) rejected, b) an alternate, or c) admitted. If you received an email saying you were rejected, then you’re not an alternate.

No Facebook group. I’ll go make one then. Search “RSI 2014”

Grats all, hoping to have a good time!

oh yea thanks a bunch fusionMK
but shouldn’t you have some way to provide proof of acceptance idk O.o

also wait i’m pretty sure CompSciStudent is making a group you should contact him

I mentioned an acceptance procedure in the Facebook group. I couldn’t find another group, so I’m guessing that CompSciStudent hasn’t made one yet. I’ll probably delete mine if he actually has one.

it’s the official RSI group but it’s closed so that’s why you couldn’t find it

Hmmm… anyone that’s in the facebook group want to invite me? I’ll PM name/details

Anyone else hasn’t received any reply yet?

Hi Everyone. I’m a teacher, and one of my students applied to RSI but hasn’t heard anything one way or the other. Last year (on the 2013 thread) decisions started to be mailed on March 12. On the RSI website I recall reading that decisions would be sent the last week of March.

Should my student call if he hasn’t heard anything yet? Or will more decisions be mailed the next few weeks?

That is, were ALL of them sent yesterday?

@GreB77777 What state/coast are you from? I haven’t received a reply yet and think maybe they’re sending by states/regions.

engarde pm me

o

Not by region, then. I know of people in NY and the South who already received their result. RSI candidates, please post your state when you post your result. Thank you.

okay NJ accepted…

in the past there have been cases where letters were just forgotten about at all… the more logical idea is that they’re still deciding between a couple of candidates on whether they get accepted or become alternates

@absoluteMIT Congratulations! I’m glad I’m not from NJ. Do you have an idea of how many people have been accepted so far?

They might be taking fields of research into consideration, too.

ah yea agreed, also we should definitely pm each other so i can add you to fb group, uh as of now i know of 7 people, definitely more ofc
