Is bio research for undergrads pretty much non-existant at NYU?

I think undergraduate research is pretty much non-existent at NYU. Anyone is welcome to prove me wrong.

Is this enough?

Or this.

Maybe this.

haha guess i was wrong. My opinion of NYU increases marginally

Had I not responded with facts to refute your contention, visitors to this thread and the OP would perhaps have taken it as factual. You now state that even having been proven incorrect, your opinion of NYU "increases marginally" - which implies that your opinion of NYU is so low that even a factual correction is insufficient to raise it significantly. Why is this so? What are the other factors influencing your opinion? I'm sure everyone would be interested in seeing your response. I certainly would.

I was not the one who posted at 2:01 if you're referring to the topic starter... My username is vvvvaaaapppp not Last2AcntsBanned. I've always thought highly of NYU but I've heard that it's more focused on art than science. Thanks for the info!!!

You're welcome! No, I was referring to Last2ActsBanned, the poster immediately above my comment. Sorry for the confusion. You may have gotten your impression on focus due to the fact that NYU has a college (Tisch) exclusively focussed on the arts, and their arts programs are highly rated and publicized. However, in the College of Arts and Science, the focus is no different than any other college of arts and science, which you can see by a comparison of majors and departments, and there is even a separate institute for mathematics and computer science (Courant), which is unique. Anyway, good luck!

I mean wow, look at all those philosophy research opportunities.

Just because it increases marginally doesn't mean it's low to begin with. I'm just impressed. I think I'm going to try to get myself into a research position now.
