Residence-Based Advising

Hey guys - I just wrote a pretty important post on residence-based advising, if you're thinking about your housing options for next year. Please read it: http://www.mitadmissions.org/topics/misc/miscellaneous/residencebased_advising_1.shtml

The gist of it is: RESIDENCE-BASED ADVISING WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO CHANGE DORMS YOUR FRESHMAN YEAR.

Let me know if you have any questions!

oh my god jess. i love your name.

so um.. didn't you change your dorm during your freshman year? (to BC?)

It took A LOT of maneuvering, and the fact that I didn't apply for RBA in the first place. But like it says on the website, "a first-year student in RBA may be permitted to request a housing change, but these exceptions are rarely made."
