For those who are living on campus...did your school give you information about buying extra long linens at Residence Hall Linens (www.rhl.org)? If so, are you planning to buy from RHL or elsewhere? RHL doesn't provide the number of thread counts on their site. They should.... What do you think about the prices? (I think it's quite expensive.......but that's my opinion...)

Also, I found these websites on Google:

We had a thread about this recently. The sheets are total crap and fall apart after a couple washings. Just go to target or bed, bath and beyond and buy the twin xl sheets there. Cheaper and better made.

i tried telling my grandma this but noo, i dont know about life and she ordered them anyway.

That doesn't mean you can't take your money and go out and get some good sheets, either when she's not with you or when you get to school.

i think i might send them back--but yeah, im going to buy some sheets on my own.

frostburg2010: great idea!!
Justin: You can try to return the RHL sheets (but prob have to pay for shipping), or resell them to another student or on ebay.

This question might sound a bit silly......but what's the difference between "Extra Long" and "Twin Extra Long" sheets?

They're the same. Maybe I'm wrong but I've never heard of full, king, or queen extra long.

I got my sheets from Walmart. Two sets Twin XL. Something like 11/bucks per set.

Target has better quality, more selections, and at a better price.

There are only twin XL because it's ONLY college dorm beds. I've had regular twin sheets fit if they're deep, but it really depends. They are not the same.

The siren, wasn't the case for me. Same thread-count, more colors (or maybe at least the colors I wanted), and was only a few dollars more for the two sets than the one set I had bought at Target.
