This is a small double. The left side of the photo is the left side of the room with two closets and one chest of drawers built into the wall.
The beds must be bunked or lofted, you cannot have them both on the ground at the same time and fit in desks as well.
This is a regular double.

The built in area where the tv is shows the built ins. The small double built in is half the width because those rooms were originally singles.
There are also some different sized rooms available in South but this is generally what is in Simmons & McElwain.
Sometimes they make the regular doubles into triples when space is tight.</p>
