Residence Hall Questions

I have two unrelated, somewhat random questions about the residence halls:

In a triple, are there 3 closets? If so, how is that possible?

To everyone who’ll be living in the dorms and bringing a laptop, how do you plan on keeping it safe?

Thanks guys.

I can answer #2...

most people just bring a kensington lock which is universal and can be plugged into the kensington port with a lock symbol. they generally cost about 10 bucks

Yes. In a triple, there are two closets and an extra "add-on closet" that's shaped like a dresser, located underneath one of the bunkbeds adjacent to the third desk.

I use a Defcon cable lock which plugs into the security port on the corner of my laptop. The cable itself is threaded under a nearby shelf and looped around the frame of my bed.

im bringing a defcon alarm lock thingy. it makes noise that can hurt ur ears!

i got it for only 26 bucks plus tax/shipping.

i was wondering about the closets too. I stayed in a triple at orientation, and it seems like there's two closet areas in the two corners of the room near the door. but then does the third person just get that tiny shelfless/drawerless box under the bunk? hardly seems fair..

^ yep, thats basically how it works. There should also be a set of drawers for the third person under the other bed.

wow sucks for whoever gets last call.

Got it, so if I want to steal your computer Westow, wear ear protection. :)

Lol - characters
