Residence on Fifth

Anyone else here get the Res as their housing assignment? Can any students offer some insight about the Res community and atmosphere and all that? It was my second choice only because of the whole quiet dorm thing, so does anyone know if that rule makes a big difference in the social life and community aspect?

Also, are there any places nearby where I can use meal blocks, or at least flex dollars?

Oh, and does anyone know where I can find a picture of what the apartments look like from the inside? There’s no virtual tour, and I couldn’t find anything on Google…

Nicest dorm rooms I’ve ever seen, and at least this year, everyone in the Rez got along so well - my friends and I were really jealous of how everyone seemed to bond and get along so well. The community seemed so nice.

The rooms are very spacious, with a nice kitchen space. Infinitely better than the other freshman dorms.

You can use your DineX (which is what everyone will call it, even if it’s actually flex dollars or whatever) at Subway on Craig, but that’s only a little closer than campus. It’s really not toooo far.
