It looks like I am attending BC and I have a question for current students. When selecting dorms, you can select single, double, triple, and quad. As far as rooms sizes goes, if you have a triple or quad do you overall have more space for yourself? In other words although you have 2 or 3 other people with you do you have more space then you would in a double or a single for your own use? Also for a freshmen what do you guys think is the best configurement and what are the pros and cons of the the different room configurations?

natural triples are HUGE, and definetly give you the most room for yourself. the doubles on upper are a tad smaller than the doubles on newton so between that youd get most person room (in doubles) on newton. quads on newton (havent been in one on upper) are gigantic with lots of room for everyone but might not be worth it if you think about 4 peoples living patters and habits. obviously forced triples (only on upper) give you the least room.

i think if i could pcik again i would pick a natural triple as my first choice, then double, then quad. i think triples are nice becuase it gives you a better chance to form a good realtionship with at least one of your roommates plsu the rooms are A LOT bigger

are there natural triples on both newton and upper?

yep.. ive actually only been inside a natural triple on upper but there are two on my floor here in newton. a guy from my HS has a natural triple in cheverus (upper) that is AMAZING. when you first walk in theres like a 3x3 area and then another door (muffles the noise well) then theres a large room with two beds (with a REAL closet) and another door that opens up to a smaller room with another bed and their own connected bathroom. the door is never on its hinges though because they use it has a pong table. im sure that theres only a couple of triples like that, most likely you will have just one big room.
