My D is a resident of Michigan, but was classified as Out-Of-State by Admissions (she wasn't automatically considered in-state because she attends an overseas international school). Supporting documents were filed Jan. 30th. MSU has already changed her status to In-State, but U-MI hadn't even looked at her documents as of yesterday.

Wondering how this will affect admission decisions and scholarship consideration. Obviously the Admissions office has to consider her as Out-Of-State until the Registrar says otherwise. Any advice, especially from anyone who may have been in this position before?
