Residential College: Pros & Cons

I was recently accepted to LSA and have been diligently conducting my own research into Michigan's fit for me.

I am an outgoing, enjoy social events, participate in music ensembles and love politics. I plan to major in Poli Sci, history and possibly minor in philosophy (ethics). I expect to attend atop ranked law school on the east coast. I am independent and do not need to go Greek.

I enjoy classroom interaction and debate.

Any feedback on the pros & cons of RC for someone like myself. Is it limiting or isolated from the classic Michigan experience?

what do you guys think of U wisconsin madison as compared to umich then? I'm accepted to both colleges (UW-M sci & arts and umich LSA Residential college), with my intended major being molecular biology.

I am also applying to wisconsin's intl scholars program, and I am attracted by its study abroad offerings which definitely trumps over umich's one (quantitatively at least).

To further the residential college. I got a letter from the honors program and they mentioned a residential college specifically for honors kids Can anyone talk about that?
