What's it like? Is there a huge difference between RC and being a regular student? What kind of people are in it? What do they do, etc.?

My friend is in it...and the way she put it word for word: pale and artsy people. Eh.

The classes are smaller...with an emphasis on the arts, so a lot of the kids are independent, smart, artsy, unique, liberal (give or take), sometimes crazy...because the RC -located in West Quad?- is known for its weirdness. In addition, in-depth discussions are encouraged in the small classes.

Here's more information on this:

I got a brochure about a week ago concerning the college....because I indicated on my app that I was interested. But after some thought, I decided not to. It just doesn't seem like the place for me, eh :D

if i mark the card that says "if i go to michigan, i want to be in the RC", can i opt out later, and if so, when do i need to opt out by?

RC is in East Quad.

anyone goes there? and how do you feel it… :)

Will any one??? … :)

My D is in the RC and absolutely loves it. Her classes have been small and taught by outstanding professors. She likes having most of her classes in her dorm, especially in the winter. East Quad also has a concert venue in the basement and is close to everything else. She has a busy social life and is involved in several campus organizations outside the RC.
