hello everybody, i just got into the biomedical engineering major at ut and was considering joining the residential fig program at whitis court.
I was just curious as to if any of you guys have experienced it first hand or know people who have experienced it and if it is a good experience in general. any input would be appreciated.

Well i don't know if this will help, but I went to a "Longhorn saturday" session and there was a panel of students there to answer any questions we had.

They said it was an awesome experience and you can get really close to people that are interested in the same field of study as you. Also (in case you don't already know, but you most likely already do), they make sure you are in some of the same classes as those people. This is to ensure that you can get together and have study sessions and the likes.

That's pretty much all i know. =|

Another nice thing is that all the FIGS are housed together - but mixed up. You will be attending classes with your FIG, but you will be housed with all the other FIGS, so you won't ONLY be living with biomed kids, but will live with arts figs, etc.
